How to Use the 3D Capabilities of Prezi

Prezi doesn't support real 3D effects, but they do have a couple of cool options for giving the illusion of some 3D depth to your presentations.  Prezi has some 3D templates that are all ready to go;  all you have to do is add your own content: text, pictures, videos, etc.  But, if you want to set up your own 3D-style Prezi, the video below shows you how to set it up.

Prezi Presentations: A Break from PowerPointlessness

Prezi is a great alternative to PowerPoint and Keynote.  It's a cloud-based presentation tool that breaks away from the mold of slide-based presenting that PowerPoint and Keynote established.  Instead of featuring slides, Prezi has one huge canvas on which you can place all the content for your presentations.  Then you tell Prezi how to zoom and pan around the canvas in order to present your content.  The lack of slides gives Prezis a new and fresh feel.  Prezi's been around for a few years now, but in 2013 they redesigned the interface for it.  Check out a Prezi tutorial video below:

Make Educational Game Shows with SuperTeacherTools Jeopardy

For years I've been looking for a high quality alternative to PowerPoint Jeopardy that so many teachers use to help students review for upcoming tests.  The best free option, in my opinion, has been SuperTeacherTools.net and their Jeopardy Review Game builder.  In 2014 SuperTeacherTools has undergone a complete redesign, and the Jeopardy Game builder is better than ever!  It does work a little differently than it did before, though, so check out the tutorial for it below.
